Rich black berries throughout with density I would have believed to be 1er Cru. Clearly from a ripe vintage, but wonderfully fresh & bright for 2003 (I’d have thought 2009 of blind). Very good Village wine, very good now.

Another 2003 that tastes like Burgundy. Floral nose, classic Vosne Romanee flavors, leaning towards 'blue' rather than 'red' fruits (no mistaking this for Chambolle). Iron but not tannic. Tasty bottle of Burg, good today and I think will hold/improve for quite a while.

I have been a fan of Anne Gros for about a decade; the wines are full of lush fruit, bright acidity and balance. This was pulled for an autumnal dinner of roast chicken with root veggies. Out of the bottle the garnet color exuded her tell tale cherry nose and zesty finish. I would expect this to last the decade---but mine won't.

Nice but a little plummy. More blue than red fruit.
