One of the best bottles of wine I have ever had. I honestly didn't know Napa cab was capable of this. We had this at The French Laundry next to some pretty amazing wine, including a 2013 Clos De La Roche Domaine Ponsot Burgundy (a $600 wine that gets 97 points on CT) and the group was fairly evenly split about whether this or the Ponsot was better.
So I'm looking at all of these scores and wondering if their bottle was different, or maybe it was just the sense of occasion or maybe I just had too much to drink at that point. But it wasn't just me. We all marveled at how aromatic this wine was. Having after a top shelf Burgundy which was possibly the most aromatically complex wine I've ever had, this held its own. Layers of earth and fruit and a tiny bit of forest floor. Dark cherry with a hint of raisin. Fantastic balance of acidity, light tannins and hints of dark red fruit. We paired it with Wagyu steak and it was gorgeous and elegant.
This wine probably doesn't have many more years in it, but it was in no way past peak.

This bottle suffered from recent seepage due to cork failure. Moist residue on foil and fill level was only mid-shoulder. Nevertheless the wine was still enjoyable.

I don't like cabernet, but this was quite good. It was almost like Zin, but with a more earthy, cab flavor to it. Jammy and a little acidic. Better than the '92, which was consumed the same night.

Very good, but slightly disappointing versus some other napa cabs drank the same night
