  2007 vintage continues to impress. Bergstrom has done very well with this wine from Shea vineyards. Still fresh with notable red fruits. Likely drinking near its peak.

  Poured to a darker garnet coloring. An initial red fruit nose which became cherry accompanied by some spice, minerality and velvet tannins which remained in the background. Incredibly smooth, possibly around its peak.

  Deep garnet color. Nose of black cherry, spice. Palate of black cherry, spice, some minerality with velvety tannins which definitely softened with decanting. Lovely wine with all the right balance.

  Happily, this bottle at 13 years of age was impressively similar to the 4/8/15 bottle.
