Needs about 45 minutes in decanter and then ready to go! Aromas of cassis, truffles, cedar, camphor, licorice and tar. Palate is medium to full bodied with ripe dark fruit, and flavors of mocha, licorice and dark chocolate. Finish is medium to long. Great wine!

Fully mature with aromas of autumn leaves, tobacco, dark cherry and plummy fruit. Medium to full-bodied with enough acidity to provide lift and decent length to the secondary notes of its dark fruit profile. About an hour of air seemed to be all that was needed for the wine to hit its full stride. Worked well with some aged cheese. This well-stored bottle seemed to be nearing the far end of its prime drinking window. Delicious.

Flat-out delicious. A gorgeous deep burgundy color, no faded edges, opulent nose. Half bottle with dinner, the rest for lunch with pizza. Bought as a future way back when. Only one bottle left...

Bouquet of ripe berries, prune, mint, minerals, undergrowth. Lush palate, ripe, sweet, berries, touch of acidity, mint, spices, leading to a nice finish. Upon opening, oak sticked out a bit, but got much more integrated on second night. Great with food but also indulging after dinner. Rather heavy but still great to drink.

Decanted for 1 hour. Great balance, leather, berries, long finish. An elegant wine. Shame I had only 1 bottle.
