bon équilibre. fruits rouges/fruits noirs, cerise et/ou framboise à l'eau de vie, notes de torrefaction, cacao. Finale assez fraiche. Bouche équilibrée, tanins bien fondus sans être très soyeux.

Fully mature, this medium bodied wine exchanges concentration for grace, elegance and refinement. The fruit is ripe, the tannins are silky and the freshness provides all the lift you need, so you can enjoy the earthy, smoky, red berry complexities. This is good for at least another decade of evolution.

Love it. Nice and easy to drink. With only 12.5 volume it is certainly not the big hulk. Tender ruby red colour, smells strawberry jam and espresso with and light toast on your palette. The body is rather light and finishes medium. The wine has almost lost its howl acidity. But with good care can go on for another few years.

Medium red, pleasant enough but not very exciting - quite a lot of oak, a little bit tough on the finish, at 13 years old you'd hope for a bit more interest. I would guess cabernet dominated. Could not get much Pessac here, seems to me that you taste a bit more of the elevage than the fruit. I generally prefer the white anyway, but this seemed a little disappointing today.
