  Pale, fragrant notes of cut flowers, red cherries, plum, and sous bois. Drinks okay, but nothing to write home about.

  Decanted for 2 hours. Served double blind in a flight of 6 “burgundies”. Purple/red Welchs grape juice color. Red fruit and spice/stems on the nose. Fairly structured palate, red fruit combined with silky yet firm tannins with a saline infused texture. I missed this as a CA Pinot ringer, and guessed it to be an 05 Vosne. Showed well, second or third place wine for most tasters.

  My bottle was either asleep or it's now too old. The fruit was lacking and the tannins were flabby. Disappointed.
