Clear light red with browning. Aged red berry, thyme, nutmeg and warm earth nose. Dry fading nutmeg and berry flavours and a dry resolved finish.
This wine drank very nicely and held together in the glass. A wine that has been through an identity crisis. Name changes, spelling changes ( this bottle was spelt ROQUETTE) and switched vineyards with Piedlong. At this point it was it’s own domaine. That changed soon after.

This wine displays a fine balance of fruit, acidity and tannins.a lingering pleasant finish to complete the experience. Sorry that i only had one (1) bottle but that’s life.

Brick colour, but quite translucent, almost Burgundy-like. Nose still predominantly cherries, forest floor and Eucalyptus. In mouth the sweetness first hits you, tannins now softened, and then the richness and roundness of a mature CNdP. Agree with the last review - this has definitely improved with age (and more so with air-time - after an hour in decanter even better). Lovely accompaniment to a hearty winter lamb hot-pot !

Wonderful CNdP! Mature notes of Syrah, Grenache, loads of garrigue-ness (is that even a word?!) spread across a smooth balanced wine of finesse, depth and length. Bottle did not make it past dinner.....
To those earlier reviewers who said this was shot - check your storage conditions. At nearly 20 years this wine was drinking very very well.
