  Perfect cork.

  I was worried this was past its prime... Not at all. A little aeration and this full bodied smooth and tasty specimen is still going strong. Opened this 2008 when I couldn't locate my last bottle of 2005. I was pleasantly surprised, as was my guest. I hope I can locate my last 2008 bottle.. maybe it's in hiding with the 2005 ;)

  This bottle was hitting on all cylinders - rich and elegant, balanced and smooth, and lovely on the palate.

  Lots of tart plum. Finish is a bit clipped. Very good but a bit one dimensional, so very good but not amazing.

  Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Some random wines.: Beautiful, slightly smoky bouquet with dark berries and garrigue. On the palate a full bodied, yet elegant and concentrated wine with herbs and spices, mocha, beautiful acidity and a touch of sweetness.
