  Originally purchased at the winery; decanted 30 minutes; bouquet of cedar, blackberries, black currant; on the palate the wine was much smoother than the last time we drank a bottle (July, 2004); tannins resolved but still linger on the finish; not as much heat, still great fruit character of blackberry, cedar, slight smoke, massive black cherry... what a wine, it keeps going. We're giving it another 5 - 10 years of life... easily.

  Wow, has this wine come into it's own. The nose fills the room with dark black fruit and vanilla. Full bodied and in perfect balance. The finish lingered for minutes. I wish I could drink this every night!

  A dark, inky color wine with very nice aromas and flavors of deep fruit, leather, blackberry and a wonderful finish of integrated tannins. This is mouthfilling and has a long finish without being tannic or jammy. Well done!
