still plenty of fruit and a distinct pepperiness I didn't notice last time. More of the mushroomy tertiary flavours add interest. Finish was a touch short but still in good nick.

Popped this, and let breath for 2 hours. Dark fruit, mocha on the nose. Medium bodied w/flavors of raspberry, blackberry, olive and vanilla initially w/a slight bite on the finish. Our son loved it right out of the gate, we had popped a Byron pinot last night, and he said the Raymond blew that out of the water. After another hour, this wine really opened, much fuller and even smoother w/delicous refined flavors and a lengthy finish. Should you have this in the cellar, pop the cork, you'll be impressed. Could go another 7-10 years based upon the structure, but no reason to wait, drinking well now.

For some reason I tasted strong green olive. Last year same thing. Not sure why since these bottles have been in my cellar since new. Wasn't corked either. Decanted for an hour. Didn't have with food, perhaps that would have helped.

Agree with most recent note. Still holding up, but not much of a finish.

Very nice and mature with surprising acidity. Still lots of bright fruit with some smokiness and earth notes.
