  Third of four bottles, two years since last tasting. Even darker yellow now, deep bouquet of saffron, ripe yellow apples, faint sting of chili. Acidity seems to be winding down a bit but will keep last bottle for a while longer for reference.

  Light straw, crumbled cork
  Bright petrol and peach aromas
  Nice acidity off dry

The palate was a little broad for a Kabinett, and a bit unfocused too, although there was a fresh acidity just not one that pulled the mid-palate together. There's a bit of bitter grapefruit pith flavor that distracts on the finish. On day 2, however, this has really shaped up! The palate had settled into a rounder mouth feel, with yellow apple and a core of zingy acid, just what you hope for in aged Riesling. Give this some more cellar time or if opening now, plenty of air.

  Dark golden yellow, hint of green. On the nose strong saffron, yellow apples, syrup. On the palate fresher than expected, somewhat thick, enjoyable now but should develop further.

  almost gold color , little petroleum , saffron , fruits and mineral , on the palate balanced , nice sweet start with a balancing acidity on the final. I have drunk a bottle almost alone
