  Level was 5cm down from a heat affected auction sale so my hopes weren't high for this one. Weeping cork too for good measure. The wine is certainly not going to get any better but it's still hanging in there remarkably well. Great perfume of old spices with a great lively freshness which surprised me. Tannins are showing a touch but in line with a wine of this age from Volnay. Still fresh enough to be enjoyable and given the vintage well worth the $20 I paid for it.
