While the aromas may not be intensely pronounced, it still offers glimpses of ripe cherries, forest floor, and subtle spice. On the palate, this wine delivers a solid performance—good but not exceptional—with well-integrated fruit flavors. Although it falls short of greatness, it remains a commendable village-level wine, worthy of exploration and enjoyment.
Yes, I drank a lot, and it was very quaffable. Was it complex and moderately ripe no. Could have some upside though. Red cherry and some earth and some sauvage ness if you let it air out. Would recommend a decant and slight chill. A very elegant style and tannins are in check. I’ve had better vintages of this amazing vineyard.

(Bouchard Père et Fils Beaune 1er Cru Grèves Vigne de L'Enfant Jesus) Medium dark cherry red color; sous bois, green, menthol nose; tight, tart raspberry, sous bois, mineral, tart red fruit palate with sweet tannins; medium-plus finish (not as tasty and well knit as I'm used to with this Bouchard bottling)

Drinking well from my passive cellar, but starting to fade. Drink up.

Redcurrant, plum, tobacco and earth. Concentrated and youthful. Hint of vegetal, and a little commercial. Plenty of aging potential.
