  The one with Old Bordeaux (Praelum): The first look at the bouquet immediately put this wine up for wine of the night. Leaping bouquet of dried florals, graphite, dark plums and bayberries before moving on to white pepper, mulberries, red currents, tobacco and dried roses on the palate. This wine is powerful yet soft, brutish yet elegant, brash yet sensual... you get the drift. Great fruit concentration with a good hit of acidity - timeless and an amazing bottle of bordeaux.

  Décanté 1h30 avant consommation.Robe encore bien ferme malgré son âge.Le bouquet offre des senteurs de menthol,de cèdre et surtout de crème de cassis,marqueur du cabernet sauvignon en vin vieux.La bouche offre une typicité Margaux qui saute aux yeux avec cette allure féminine très élégante.Cette bouteille affiche sa classe mais on perçoit un léger creux en milieu de bouche ce qui atténue un peu sa cotation finale.Effet millésime vraisemblablement.Néanmoins un excellent flacon !!!

  Floral and typical Margaux aromas, with leather, herbs and pencil. Soft, feminine and developed on the palate, still with a lot of punch and concentration.

  Delicious, classic Bordeaux nose of graphite, tobacco, green peppercorns, plums, and red currents. A lush, silliness gives way to a slightly harsh finish. Amazing wine for 38 years old. Still has great life ahead of it.
  
  After three hours, it takes on an exotic smokey jambon character, Rose petals, and candied cherries. Just an amazing Bordeaux.
