This took 45 minutes in the decanter to open and then it was graphite, tobacco, leather and damp earth. My wife loved it and we were happy to share the last 1/2 bottle as our friends opted for the Aussie Shiraz.
I am not as in love as Jay Miller but it was perfectly balanced and delicious. I'll drink the remaining bottles over the next 3-5 years.
Glad I bought some even though it was not exactly best vintage. Toasty oak with incense, dark fruit and touch of salinity. Drinking at a good spot right now. Prices have been inching up. Sediments not a problem at least with this vintage.
