This seemed almost too over the hill when decanted, but recorked and brought to the restaurant. It's not an award winner, but we didn't have a problem finishing it.

Same btl as BradE. Brad was very skeptical upon arrival but suggested we give it a go, later on. This found some of its footing and enough of it's pedigree for my liking. There we're an assortment of mushroom, earth, cinnamon, and fading red fruit on both the nose & palate to hold my interest and cut it some slack. Past peak but still some reflections of its better days to be gleaned. Thanks Brad!

Dinner with Friends at Verve Chicago (Verve Chicgo): Color and nose (maderized) suggested this was past its prime, but the palate was actually oddly elegant with some spice, sweetness, and a touch of fruit. Would not ntake another swing of this but was a fun part of a fun night

Enough here to hold interest, but overall somewhat thin and dry. 88-
