We are not Sauvignon Blanc lovers, but we did a cedar-planked salmon with a tasty rub that cried out for a more tart white wine, so we drank this. We were out of Pinot Gris, which would of been our wine of choice. No obvious defects, decently well-rounded, lots of tart straw, grapefruit and touch of melon taste. It was a decent pairing with the dish, it just didn't knock our socks off. Will likely try a different New Zealand Sauv Blanc and/or go back to Oregon Pinot Gris next time. Probably not a bad buy for the money if you like Sauv Blanc and don't want to shell out lots.

Citrus fruit, acidic, and a little tart. Enjoyable on a warm day, but nothing special. Then again, I'm a red wine drinker so....
