  Pretty amazing - I was expecting it to be way over the hill - turned out to be just fine. Columbia Crest, as usual, over-delivers!

  Still enjoyable but fruit is fading a bit. Dark red color with distinctive tannins. Hint of leather.

  Aromas of blackberry and cherry. Soft and open with a fruit forward relaxed style. Flavors of blackberry cobbler, black currant, anise, and hints of menthol. Slight drying tannin on the medium length finish. Improved slightly over the 1st hour.
