Not as fresh or vibrant as my previous example, but still a lovely wine showing rich fruit, a bit of marmalade sweet and sour element, an elegant grace but not a wimpy wine, just pure and sophisticated. Opened and poured, it quickly reached its apogee, and then faded slowly down to oblivion. (NoMad)
This is a special wine - not a huge blockbuster but elegant and sophisticated, and shows marvelous breed, character and complexity. It screams DRC on the nose and palate. A treat and while it is fully mature, it is still youthful.

There were delicious flavors of menthol, tobacco, rose oil, ‘vanilla’ per Mark, and ‘mesquite’ per another
