  Jammy fruit, mostly black and blue, and a saucy texture. There’s plenty of elegance and a balanced power, however I think this will not see and better days.

  incredible that this wine has aged and done so with such grace. A bit more than a pop and pour, opened for an hour plus before first sip. It is a wonderful wine seeming far more fresh and alive than one would ever have imagined. Fruit absolutely bright and intact, more toward red berries. Floral notes. Very clean and fresh with no hint of funk or falling apart. Likely good for another five years.

  At this age this wine is smoking good. One would expect it to be basic... yet it really stands out as a great Zinfandel

  Some would say this is one of their lesser wines. I can only say that it has aged gracefully and far and away exceeded our expectations.

  “Juvenile” has been around for decades, so this wine could be called “Old Vines.” PnP and drank over 2 hours. No detailed notes. Initially, cranberry w/ tart cherry and some spice. But it morphed over time; at one point cherry w/ raspberry and hints of cranberry. A serious wine at a modest price.
