Crystaline, clear, clean, slices like a knife. Usual suspects in the background: pit fruits, citrus, singing choir behind the diva soprano acidity. Best bottle of this vintage so far. Surprised, I've been souring on Huet since the 2012 vintage, but this bottle casts the house in a new light for me.

Good, not exciting. Very Vouvray, very Huet, but the volume's muted. Not oxidized, but the rest of my bottles are headed into the 'drink up' section of my storage.

My third bottle out of the stash. I haven't been impressed by the first two, but this bottle is completely stellar - precise, focused, crystalline. An unimpeachable bottle and really superb by any standard. Sorry I am writing from memory and can't offer flavor and aroma details, but, if you have a few, open one now and write a note of your own. Warning, may taste musty on opening and take half and hour to an hour to show its breed.

Green apple, a bit of lemon peel, acid and a touch of flowery perfume around the edges. Has a tiny sweet spot in the middle, honeysuckle. Very pretty and delicate. It's a bit baked and aging, fruit is soft and fading although the acid stands up. I'd drink these up based on this bottle, although I understand there is pretty significant bottle variation. Very good, but its best days are behind it. Might also be interesting to see if it has a second act.
Wow, after about an hour of air this has really opened up. Shed some of the cobwebs. Has gotten even prettier.

Lots of beeswax and marzipan. Mango sherbet, apricotpreserve. Seems to have some RS, but this doesn't bother me and somehow adds to the complexity and roundness of the wine.
