Deep brick-red, leather, tar and earth on the nose. some of these elements are found in the taste, leather and eart. Black berries, and a hint of raisins. Still some tannins, and fruit, but the acidity has somewhat overpowered the fruit. Will not gain on any further cellaring, but could keep a few more years. Still, a nice barolo. My last bottle of the vintage.....

Still going strong, left open for one hour. Floral on the nose, with blackcurrant and ceder on taste.
