  A little shrill, this has seen better days. More acid than fruit, so without food, this was OTT in some ways. Still ... interesting to try.

  Fun to try this at age 38. An off-vintage, decent but perhaps lesser producer. Bottle was in great condition, high neck fill. Well past it's prime but much better than expected. Still had nice color with just a touch of bricking around the edges. Beef bouillon, dried herbs, very subtle nuances of red fruit, dried cherry, tomato paste, a touch of bret. Drinkable, but more interesting than pleasurable.
