Zoom wine tasting/drinking with Cassidy Dart MW (Zoom): The colour shows some age for sure. The nose was open from the pop of the cork, a leathery, earthy, soft nose true to good Burgundy. Good and healthy fruit on the palate, savoury , not really juicy and well secondary at this stage. Well balance and albeit we would have liked a biit more depth of flavour still this is well made proper Pinot from its proper home. 92

17 (Chas m Voc+Holt) Schönes Rubinrot, relativ große Farbtiefe. Nase verhalten. Schöne Frucht-Säure-Balance. Ausreichend Frucht (endlich mal wieder) sauber, klar und angenehm. Reif, am Anfang(?). G. etwas zu säurestark....Schöner roter Burgunder mit ausreichend Fruchtdruck und Finesse. Unkompliziert.

Dinner at Nude (Nude, MBFC, Singapore): Good quality, but a bit tight. The nose had shut down a little, smelling a bit stemmy along with subtle red fruit and earth and mineral scents. The palate had nice velvety depth underlying its dark red berry and blueberry notes, but again there was a toughness to it, with some stemmy, mouth coating tannins lurking in the background. The acidity and fruit of the vintage showed up nicely, but both stuck out in rather disparate angles. There is quality here, but it is in deep sleep mode. Let it rest for the next 6-8 years at least.

Bottle breathe for 1 hour. Balanced Burg approaching maturity with nice nose and palate. Not complex at all but smooth and enjoyable.
