70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot. Color in glass was purple/red and opaque with medium legs. On the nose in your face blackberry, blueberry, violets, cassis, cedar, oak, vanilla, blueberry cream pie. On the palate juicy currants, blackberry, cedar and a little graphite/pencil lead. The finish was delicious and rolls off the tongue like a warm rain down your cheeks. All the elements of this wine have come together. Outstanding, luscious, multi dimensional layered with gobs of fruit. This is what you call a wine whore, stylistically of course.

This was my favorite of the Aeros I’ve drank so far. It was smooth, nicely fruit flavored and yummy. We gave it some air for a few hours first and it was even yummy the next day

Very lovely nose with violets, geranium, subtle mineral and earth notes. Forest floor, mushroom, wet stone... Very complex nose. The mouthfeel on this wine gave me shivers. Utterly silky. Flavor profile was a little restrained but that was made up for by the endless finish. Red fruits and acidity lingering on long after the swallow. I don't know if I can justify the $120 price tag on this wine... it is really good... but my suspicion is that you're paying for about $80 worth of good wine and an extra $40 for the word "Meritage"

What a surprising superb wine! Dare I call it potentially a wine of a lifetime? Extremely concentrated flavors with great balance and complexity, supple structure. Very bold young fruit, balanced with perfect acidity, just the right level of alcohol to carry the flavors, and big tannin that are surpringly easy to take and doesn't come with the bitter aftertaste I find with big young tannins. On the nose I can pick out a cornucopia of all fruits red and black and blue, but on the palate it is well integrated with a balanced impression plums at the peak. There are med dark coffee notes on the palate and tight tannins the promise further unravelling of flavors after some time laid down.
