  Surprisingly still going strong, lots of fruit, even getting better after one hour of air. Excellent value!

  75% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon Nice aromatics with more focus on secondary notes of spice, tobacco, cedar but verging on tertiary notes with a meaty earthiness. The palate is still fresh but with soft resolved tannins, dark fruit and a touch of spice. This comes from the same family as Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou.

  Nicely aromatic with black currant, mint and oak. Rich and structured, but chunky and clumsy. This is fine for the money, but lacks the elegance of proper Bordeaux. 87
