Brownish already, elegance wine dominated by earthy and smokey notes. Not very complex midle part, lightly in style and you have to dig to find the nose. Lacking fruit. However the aftertaste is long and shows the class. Difficult to see this wine develop further.
A bit of a mixed bag. Starting to brown a bit, which was surprising; maybe bottle was slightly off. Nicely acidic and red-fruited. Some pleasant tannins on the finish. Fairly one-dimensional, though, and a now+ 5-year wine it seems. Have some additional bottles, so will revisit soon.
light ruby/garnet colour. Great nose offering up ripe small red fruits, spice, and rose petal. Lovely ripe fruit with great balance of mineral acidity and fine silky tannins, epegant, feminine but mouth filing and very satisfying. VG for 07.
