Enjoyed with grilled lamb chops. Decanted for 1 hour. Dark black color and shows no sign of age. Meat, black olives, floral, blackberry / saline on nose. Similar palate ex floral component. Medium+ body, nice balance and long finish. 92+
Ruby color, garnet at the edge. Initially a sharp scent of wood tannin which faded, allowing aromas of dark berry, spice and crushed rock, all translating onto the palate. Moderately firm mouthfeel with a sweet attack that develops into a well balanced flavor profile of fruit and bramble with a pleasant underlying smoky minerality. Became more expressive over time and I suspect a long decant would yield lovely results.
Fine juice but tight and needs either air time or bottle time. Opened up nicely towards the end, complex fruit with okay finish. Not sure I'd find another, though. Prefer more opulent fruit that can either coat the teeth or pull the sweaters off 'em
