Blueberry, hot brick, chocolate covered cherry and plum. Velvety tannins that are not overpowering and the layers are somewhat evident. A serene and medium finish. Drink now - 2019.

Great QPR ($19 on sale) - lush and fruit forward, agree with prior notes of one-dimensional (not at all complex), but no alcohol disjointedness... an enjoyable quaffer of a syrah.

Dark, dark velvety red. Nose is allspice, cinnamon and blue fruits. Palate is dominated by alcohol! At 15% this wine burns your incentines, and the alcohol mask whatever flavour there might be. Very one dimentional, but what shines through is blue fruit and plums with a hint of cigar. Very spicey, and legs are longer than the average Dior model! Not my cup of tea, but a well. Made wine!
