Same as it has been. Perhaps this bottle was a tad better; brighter. But it still had the hard, harsh, bitter finish. With left over london broil and with assorted blue cheeses. Not bad, but not memorable. Not Recommended.

Lots of range in the previous comments by others. My second bottle tasted about 10 months since the first. Observations: time favors this wine and it is coming into its own now and in 2014. Green notes turn into cinnamon and cherry and the barrel, tannins are well integrated. It is a different profile than the typical Willamette Pinot which can explain some of the disappointment. It tastes much Burgundian than American with its emphasis on structure in the midpalette (oak, vanilla). So I judge it relative to other Burgundian and find it a nice try and enjoyable.

I think this was off, or drank much too late. Very acidic, high tannin, no depth, high alcohol.

Just like prior bottles - bitter finish after a bruising attack; no mid-palate. Glad this is gone. With pork chops with mushroom sauce.
