This has definitely evolved quite a bit since the last bottle I had, a few years ago. As expected the bright red fruit has receded and other flavors have come of the fore- tobacco, stewed meats, leather notes. Definitely more old world in style now. Quite nice.

Still drinking well. Dark fruit, some tobacco. Well balanced fine tannins and med acidity. A great value.

Nice Malbec. Classic purple miniscus. Notes of blackberry, tobacco, leather, sea salt. Medium bodied and medium finish. A versatile wine from a storeyed winery. Maybe a little past it’s prime when I had it. Decent, if not good, example of Malbec.
