Drank well after a two hour decant. Cherry, savory notes and some spice and ash. Still a bit tight, and could use some more time, but worked very well with food. Tannins need to integrate a bit, but the fruit and acidity offer good enough balance to allow that.
Great acidity, some tertiary notes on the nose. Fine tannins but slightly bitter. I'd say the wine is at peak and should be drunk in the next 2 years. QPR is not good though, especially compared to the Etna Rosso
