Opened this thinking it was Italian, but was immediately obvious that it wasn't. Zingy, fresh and a little sherbert. Some grass and vegetal notes running underneath the citrus. Relatively complex and interesting.

Especially nervy for a Lodi wine, and tastes very Italian, but mentally I compare it to the real deal from Guado al Tasso and can't score it any higher than the middle of Very Good.

A tart and refreshing white. 12.5% alcohol makes perfect before dinner or for lunch. It is not austere, the fruit is subdued as it is aging but it has some, great lemony finish.

Definitely different and unquestionably well-made and delicious. After all, Lodi is a city in Italy, too!
