Tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light-med gold -sweet gentle lemon sea breeze -med acidity gives a little poke to the otherwise softly textured feel, med weight mostly faded lemon leaving behind some saline minerality, average length -understated yet pure Chablis, not profound but excellent as one would expect from this master vigneron, while not yet developing overt mature elements not sure this gains much from here

Beautiful nose with slight reduction, yellow fruit, minerals, lemon, and a hint of smoke. Nice acidity with more lemon and lemon zest notes, and overall quite fruit forward and broad on the palate. Nice finish. This was really good but almost opulent in it's richness and weight. The acidity kept it in check, though.

Brief note. Drunk over three evenings, during which it did not change. Relatively deep gold colour but no sign of premox. Quality 1er Chablis. 2011 acids have now softened. Rich citrus - limes and grapefruit - and some orchard fruit but chalky minerals with precision and focus. Flavour complexity: crushed ginger, blanched almonds and touches of salinity. Now in balance, for optimal drinking over the next 10+ years.

Drank over two hours from a decanter. Showed not much changes from first to last sip. Apple pear cider, round and balanced mouthfeel. Acidity lacking a bit maybe due to vintage. Very enjoyable.

Very yellow color. Quite mature and accessible, rich style, maybe not the most complex and sharp vintage.
