A terrific food wine. Heaping amounts of fresh red fruits and berries, just tart enough to make the mouth water, along with pepper and only the faintest hint of green veggies and green olives to make it interesting. The perfect French bistro red, but made in California.

Unscrewed and poured. Spicy apple cinnamon aroma. Transparent flavors of red fruits, minerals and je ne sais quoi. Lovely cinnamon kick in the finish.
Mirable dictu, a California vin de soif at a (more or less) vin de soif price. Which is not to say that it's simple, because it isn't. This is the best CA red of its type that I've had this side Edmunds St. John.
Something fun to get excited about. Bright red cherry fruit pops on the nose with a douse of green veggies. Bell pepper and cracked pepper notes showing influence from both the Cab Fran and Gamay. Nice finish and a fun little quaff. Very good wine from CA with elegance and balance.

Good acidity and fruit. A touch too young. Couldn't notice the impact of the Gamay on the Cab Franc. Reasonably priced, so could imagine this at a larger gathering.

A lovely light bodied, fruity red. Best served slightly chilled, nice acidity and just a whisper of tannin.
