Black ruby with notes of dark cherry, allspice, nutmeg, rosemary, thyme, and black pepper. Raspberry, black cherry and vanilla in the mouth. Well integrated alcohol - surprised it was as high as 15% - and plush tannin. Not very acidic, but enough to balance the wine.
Solid RRV Zin; sweet spice, vanilla, and dark cherry on the nose; palate is silky, sweet dark cherry and some darker fruit there as well, very good acid for freshness, reminds me of RRV Pinot in a way but just a tad heavier; juicy and tasty, like drinkability, not as good as the Highwire Vineyard; went well with the Korean short ribs.
