THAT Super Village (Yan): Thought this was a little muted and needed some time to unfurl in glass. Once it did, there was no stopping it.
Dried flowers, iron, orange peel and earth come to the fore with pure and clean dark fruit, morels, sandalwood spice more apparent on the palate. Atypical and showing classic Gevrey terroir, but perhaps in the hands of Rousseau, the purity of fruit shone more.

Relativt åpen med ganske flott meaty nese.
Holder nok noe tilbake.
Mørk, dog saftig frukt i anslaget.
Fremstår fremdeles ganske ung.
Fin konsentrasjon med brukbar friskhet.
Litt jordlig i finish med svakt tørrende tanniner.
Bra Village. 91p

Le meilleur des villages 2012 dégusté hier. Classique pinot, cerise fraiche, bonne acidité, équilibre intéressant, longueur respectable. Ca manque de structure et de complexité mais d'une grande buvabilité. L'effet millésime ce fait ressentir donc je dirais que cette bouteille était très bien vu les conditions.
