Rich, dense red blend. Dark fruit and spice on the palate but one dimensional. Still a decent red blend to have with BBQ Chicken, fajitas or hamburgers.

Have had this NV bottle for 2 or 3 years. Just found it lurking in the back of the cellar. Was expecting to pop it, taste it, and dump it. Pleasantly surprised. Fruit forward as I expected, but it has some body...and has some good spiciness going on. Very long sweet fruity finish with a touch of oak. Pairs beautifully with olives. Weird.

Tasted better at the winery. Instead of an interesting blend, more like a mish-mash of flavors. Rather harsh on the finish, but I don't think this bottle was flawed.

Dark garnet color. Spicy vanilla, black plum, licorice, and mulberry nose. A cassis and black plum entry expands to a melange of black raspberry, pie cherry, mushroom and cocoa flavors that linger with just enough tannic "grip" to maintain a balanced finish. Thai green curry, French fried zucchini chips, fish tacos, burritos de carnitas, osso bucco, anything hot off the barby, and entrecote de boeuf.

Smooth, still in good shape (not sure what year I bought it!).
