Nose: serious oak, alcohol, blackcurrants, floral scents and cloves. Nice nose, however the alcohol was quite persistent on the nose, even with the bottle opened for couple of hours. On the palate, it's quite oaky with velvet texture, nice tannins with short aftertaste.
Crimson-black; savoury cheese, black currants, blackberries; plummy, plush, full body, firm ripe tannins, decent finish. Brett never fully blew off although pure berry fruit began to dominate. Big and blowsy Chilean red for $18.15.
