  • Old Oregon Pinot with Travis and Friends (Little Bird): Big strawberries on the nose but very little of the Cameron Funk. Nose presented lipstick for a moment, then settled into root beer. The C-Funk showed on the palate. Nice tannins on the finish. A complete and exciting wine.

  • I had very low expectations. The cork was slightly protuding from the bottle suggesting suboptimal storage. Interestingly the mark in the cork looks like the bottle was hand bottled. Upon opening a blast of fresh tart cherries. The wine is very light in color with a hint of brown. With air it continued to open and morphed several times. This wine did not die in the glass it kept getting better. The aromatics were bright, elegant and similar to old burgundy. The flavors kept twisting and turning from lively red fruit to smokiness to a hint of green. There was a pleasant funk in the foundation that I liked. Overall a very cool wine and a producer I continue to explore.

  • Boiled cabbage, wet straw along with pleasant unripened raspberry dilution. After a few hours decanting time, boiled veggies leaves way to softer raspberry fruit with lingering finish.
