Drinking great now, and no decanting needed. The rough edges have gone, leaving lots of fruit and moderate spice. Tannins are a little soft now, so drink up.

Similar to past notes and still a little rough around the edges. Best to decant. Very dark in color with lush black fruit and prominant oak and leather.

Much improved since my last bottle 9 months ago. I did not taste the 1st day and these notes are from day two. Dark, full bodied, and very aromatic with black fruits. Lush boysenberry, black currant, and cardamon with a grapey hint. Tannins are more relaxed than the last bottle but a little edgy with mineral and vanilla. Finish is of berry pie and soft with good length.

Full bodied deep purple wine. Nose of red fruits and blackberry. Fig, cassis flavors give way to clove, bark, and oak that is a little prominant. Medium finish. Best with food. Still has aging potential.
