Golden yellow in color. Fresh citrus, honey, nutmeg, figs on a moderately oaky background with lively acidity leading to a long and satisfying finish. Good if you can enjoy an oaked Chardonnay.

Dark golden in color. A wine with "near-sweet" pear/peach and "salty" mineral/gravel notes at the same time. Lacking balance a bit. Nice, but not as good as its "unoaked" sibling.

Blind, would have mistaken this for Puligny Montrachet. Deft use of oak. Rich, buttery but with nice acidity. Typical Chard ripe pear and apple flavors. Beautiful wine.

Enjoyable white - good for a summer bar-b-q.
