  Crimson color. Nice nose of caramelized strawberries, some old figs and cherry sauce. Hints of chocolate and spices in the back - particularly thyme. Don't think this bottle will develop further.

  2 hrs decant and it's really singing. Young Chambolle with a capital C.
  Loads of deep, dark, red scented fruit, anise, touch of vanilla and sweet, polished tannins.
  Still somewhat backward and will probably merit from 2-4 yrs in the cellar.
  If You like young burgundy, this is no bad place to search.
  If its worth the rather high pricetag is another thing, but it sure is charming!
