From the wine list at the Tewksbury Inn. Medium bodied, ruby colored. Good nose of cherries and strawberries; but the palate seemed shut in. Not particularly long, either. Paired with duck breast.

taste: very smooth and plush medium feel with medium+ acidity and balanced tones of red fruits, red currants, red cherries and berry tones. Good depth, but the tones are a bit muted right now
overall: This has some real room to grow. Well balanced with a real sexy style to it and good depth on both the nose and palate. It was a bit muted on both the nose and palate, but the raw materials are certainly there

Novoino's 4th annual portfolio tasting (Park Hyatt Hotel, Chicago IL): nose: pretty and perfumed nose of red fruits, red currants, red cherries, berries and spice tones. Good depth but on the tight side right now
