Pleasantly oxidized, toasty, tropical notes of pineapple Jolly Ranchers, orange creamsicle, and butterscotch. Has lost its crispness and acidity but has good length, just enough freshness, and a peach pit finish. Not bad for an old geezer.

This wine is probably a bit past its prime at this point. It still seemed to work okay with food, but the flavors have evolved where it didn't have the typical sauv blanc crispness that I expected. So it was still drinkable, but have to mark it down (with the qualifier that it is a bit long in the tooth at this point so not sure if I could expect more).
