cork difficult to remove. came out in 2 pieces. nevertheless, the wine was unoxidized. dark fruit and cherry on the nose. immensely approachable yet complex. nicely integrated tannins. medium finish.

Still amazingly built for a 1984. Lots of coffee notes and a great old-bordeaux-style smell.
