Red with with not much age showing at the meniscus. Looks like a 4-8 year old wine.
On pop and pour to 1 hour. No decant.: On the nose plum black and red berries cocoa coffee. All follow in the mouth. med body (chalky) and finish. med tannin. med+ acidity. decent acid fruit balance.

Dark, full bodied, oaky, black and red fruits, tannins seemed a bit rough. It seemed heavy handed to me. But it went well with a meaty pizza. Still some left, so perhaps a follow-up.
