A different experience than my last bottle. needed a couple of hours of air to show pretty, mature wine. Raspberries, cocoa, some animalistic notes. Full bodied. Medium chewy tannin and refreshing dark-fruited acidity. Drink now or soon.

Medium intensity nose of dark fruit and forest on open have way to more brooding notes over a few hours. Low tannin as most has integrated and softened, with medium-plus acidity and not as full bodied as I expected this bottling to be. Rich, stewed and ripe black fruit on the palate with some herbal/forest notes, that seemed to go from fresh to somewhat tired after three hours. A pleasant wine that is best shortly after opening. Drink up.

Brought to a large gathering, shared with friends. No formal note taken.
Brought as a substitute to a cooked 04 Relagnes CdP Les Petits Pieds d'Armand. The was surprisingly elegant. Nice hints of garigue, darker fruits, figs, cured meats, and pepper...but it wasn't a bruiser or in your face.
Had one other bottle a decade back and liked this decidedly more than back then.

Lovely pure and clean raspberry fruit flavors but still with some animalistic notes. Seems to be at its peak but will stay here for a while. The tannins are well integrated and overall, it is a wonderful wine!
