Tuscany tasting: Brownish, see-through colour. Nose of salted meats, hay, sulphur, spicy dried fruits at the background. Noticeable accidity, integrated tannins, some pickle juice and olives. Opens up nicely with air, give it time!

liked this a lot, at or past peak, fruit lurking but mostly secondary at this point -- but didn't taste over the hill, nice drink and great with our dinner of steak and salmon, was bested by Leclerc Combe aux Moines '99… my instinct is this would be viewed very positively by Bordeaux fans, being a burg man i think i prefer well aged barolo to these older brunello's

Brunello di Montalcino tasting (Riga, Latvia): 🏅Rating NR
Unclear. Brownish rim of aging. Iron. Underlying red fruit. Condition of the bottle doesn't allow to assess the wine properly.
