I truly believe Burgess is a "hidden" gem amongst the expensive Napa landscape. Always a good Cab at a great QPR...a step up from the mass produced CA Cabs.

Drinking well at 10 years old and likely peaking. Fairly typical Napa cab with aromas of red currant, dust/earth and herbs. The palate matches, adding cherry and a hint of licorice. Medium acid/tannins add structure.

A delicious Cab! Still has some lively flavor after all these years. Smooth and silky finish, well balanced tannin & fruit, and a long finish.
